5K Corporation follows a well defined and proven method for determining if an assembly operation is a candidate for out-sourcing. We start by helping you assess exactly what you need to accomplish in the sub-assembly operation. Next, we help you identify ways to optimize the entire process, paying careful attention to all the cost drivers that affect the final outcome, and then we define everything in a profit-improvement proposal. Once we've completed those steps and are confident we can add value to your operation,
we accept the project and WE DELIVER.

STEP 1: EVALUATE

5K seeks only those projects that promise to improve our customer's bottom line.

That's why we take such care in evaluating each potential project. As the first step in determining if a sub-assembly project is a candidate for out-sourcing, we sit down with you to assess a number of factors.
This assessment can include:

• Review manufacturing process
• Determine volume requirements and equipment needs
• Align workforce and manufacturing capacity
• Target QA objectives and measures
The assessment normally involves several sessions with our production experts and your engineering and/or management staff.

STEP 2: OPTIMIZE

If the assessment we undertake with you indicates a clear performance or cost improvement for you, we will help define your Request for Proposal requirements and then

develop a detailed profit-improvement proposal covering all aspects of your project. The average proposal requires between 5 - 10 working days to complete to our standards. When we are prepared, we will meet with your staff and decision makers to present exactly what we plan to do as well as the terms and conditions we have discussed with you to that point. Upon your authorization to proceed, we are on our way to meeting your production needs with very little further direction.

STEP 3: DELIVER
